I’ve heard so many good things about Pacifica Beauty that I had to get on that bandwagon and try it my self. I guess it is true that all those beauty bloggers were bragging about. It is truly an awesome collection and worth trying. I got few things for my everyday use, little makeup goes a long way, no need to use so much product. First of all foundation feels so good on face, like a cloud not heavy at all and it matches to skin perfectly. Another plus for the foundation is that it’s spf 20 so it makes you look gorgeous and protects your skin at the same time. Bronzer, blush and eyeshadow are all earthy colors and also feel amazing once on face. Lipstick feels light, moisturizing and very pretty and natural on lips.All makeup smells so good, it’s like a beachy scent but in a good way, not too overpowering. Bottom line, I would totally recommend this makeup. I have been using Pacifica for almost a month and have no regrets. I mean what’s not to love its 100% Vegan, Cruelty-free, good for planet and your skin. It is for everyday use and light coverage so if you are looking to be covered like going out for the night  and stuff I would say use something else. Life as a mommy can get really busy and sometimes you just have to let loose and spend time with your girlfriends. Well, that’s just what happened last weekend. I dressed up extremely girly, put on my best makeup and met up for dinner and drinks at Ca Va Brasserie by Todd English. Food was pure perfection as well as the drinks. The atmosphere as well, although we didn’t take any pictures in the restaurant, we didn’t want to be too tacky lol but last two are in the neighborhood one with my friend and other with my bestie which just happens to be my sister. I did not let the pouring rain ruin my night, even with a white dress I put on my smile and let the fun take over. Later we went for a nice walk and slumber party at my sisters house because we needed to catch up on all the juicy gossip (ah c’mon you know we all do it secretly). I really missed having this much fun it’s always good to catch up and have  fun and just be your self and be surrounded by people that bring  out best in you. Besides food, fashion, cute thingies I’m also a makeup and skincare junkie (like that’s a big secret). I came across this beautifully packaged goldmine and I’m a big sucker for cute and pretty packaged things. I kid you not even if I don’t like the product and it is packaged cute I most likely will buy it. Woodland

Snowmagedon has officially reached New York. I currently am stuck home painting furniture. This post is from few weeks ago since I am really busy trying to get my apartment look livable again. Enchanted Paperself

So these beautiful things have arrived at my doorsteps and I couldn’t be more happier. Yes they are the most adorable things that you have ever seen and they are called Paperself. I got contacted by this company Paperself somewhere at end of November and they sent me these beauty Lashes and temporary tattoos. Since I am a person who tells you how it is, I am absolutely in love with these products. Fist of all packaging is very cute, secondly look at all the details on these lashes. They are more beautiful in person and these pictures don’t do them all the justice (lord knows I’ve tried). I wore em all day and they didn’t bother me what so ever. I got some stares, few smiles and lots of compliments. All in all positive thoughts. Lashes are comfortable and I used them for this post and re-used them again for a different occasion. Tattoos are also gorgeous and last quite long, I actually got tired of mine and had to scrub it off. If you are looking for something fun I would definitely recommend this company. I’d say weddings, editorial  or just playing and having fun  all fall into category of Paperself. Cool fact is that they were also used in a movie The Hunger Games : ) I know now that you will pay much closer attention to Effie Trinket. All About Adisa Dress at the Opera

Oh, what a wonderful time of the year. No I’m not talking about winter silly’s I’m talking about time at the Opera with my favorite girls: momma and sista. It was right after Christmas that we went to see La Donna del Lago at the Met. It was truly magical. For the occasion I chose my namesake dress from ModCloth naturally : ). Since winter is still going strong with being warm (ish) I opted to wear this dress. I mean what better time than now. It was my first time wearing it and I wanted it to be special because c’mon how many times in life does a person get a dress named after them (still gushing over that, indeed). Before we went to the Opera my sister and I took my mom for dinner and some amazing chocolate martinis we just wanted our mom to have a nice time and to thank her for always being so kind and supportive at all the decisions in our life. Busy Print on Holiday

Holiday season has officially ended…finally! I was so occupied that I had no time to actually sit down and blog. I did take outfit photos but no actual time to share em. So here is the 1st batch from last year : ). Outing with my parents. We went to see the Christmas tree, did a little shopping in the city, went to eat some delicious Turkish food. Quite honestly wonderful day all in all. Since weather is still cooperating greatly I am wearing light clothes and not the heavy coats, so yay for that. Black Friday

Instead of shopping today I decided just to dress the part : ) Saving money never looked so good. I usually never go into the craziness for shopping on black Friday because I believe it’s more important to spend a day with your loved ones than to waste time over materialistic things. Don’t get me wrong I do love to shop but sometimes you just have to appreciate the things that you already have. I hope you all spent your Thanksgiving with loved ones and enjoyed the simple things in live because those moments matter and will be remembered. Thanksgiving for me was awesome I spent entire day with family and today was just so relaxing. Weather was so amazing for late November. I hope the whole winter stays like this (wishful thinking). I went for a walk with Mr. Husband and played entire day with my son. At the end of the day today I just feel pure joy. Till next time.

November Chic

Sometimes you have to spend the money to look expensive and sometimes you don’t,  this is one of those times where you don’t. I see some of my girlfriends wasting money on just a name brand and even dedicate themselves to just one brand. I on the other hand like to save money and if I like the style I really don’t care about what brand it is. I shop literally everywhere. This outfit, for example, is from so many different stores but it works and end result is all that matters. I also saved money and got almost everything on sale, so big yay for that. For this outfit I was inspired from my last weekends trip to Pennsylvania. You see a lot of Amish while driving and it is very pretty and since I am a city girl my interpretation is this. I hope you enjoyed this post and till next time….

Night Out

This post is a bit overdue. The thing is I was having so much fun lately I didn’t really get a chance to blog. No worries though I wont stop : ) Few weeks ago I had a pleasure of hanging out with some amazing women and among those women was my best friend that came to visit. See we have been friends for over 20 years (Gosh I feel old) and we live far away from each other but we still make it a point to hang out at least twice a year. This time she decided to come for a girls trip to NYC and we had a blast going out. We went to Lips NYC and saw a drag queen show, food was amazing and drinks as well. Afterwards it was out to dance the night away. Now onto the outfit. I barely get to be all glammed up and since I don’t really go out that much and everywhere I go is mostly kid friendly places I have decided to go with this little number. This dress fit me like a glove. No bra, no shame, my  boobies stayed in place the whole time with no adjustments. Shoes were comfy for the most part but going home after a long night I started to feel the pain. My makeup though swooning and I hope I can repeat this again.
